Future events and other notices:-

For the Sundays after Trinity the first reading will come from the Old Testament: specifically, some of the prophets, beginning with Elijah. This is the “Track 1” or “continuous” series of readings, which differs from that printed on the Redemptorist reading sheets (the psalm also differs). At the back of St. Edmund’s is a printout of the Old Testament readings for the month for you to take.

The footpath between St. Edmund’s Church and the hall will be closed from w/c 1st July for the boiler work: please use the Rectory drive. The water supply may also need to be disconnected for a period. Excavations begin w/c 8th: be prepared to use the south door to enter the church.

Sunday 7th: Joint Holy Communion at Reedham includes a celebration of Open the Book's 20th birthday. No services at Freethorpe or Halvergate Churches that morning.
