Wednesday 2.00pm: Stedfast study group meets at Kimberlin, Southwood Road, Beighton: reading through St. John’s Gospel.

Thursday 7.00pm: Benefice Council meets at St. Edmund’s Church Hall.

Friday 7.00pm at Wickhampton: The Wildlife of Halvergate Marshes – past, present & future: a talk by local RSPB Senior Sites Manager, Tim Strudwick (£5).

Saturday 10.30am – 12.30pm: All Saints Drop-in at Beighton Church.

Sunday 28th 2.30pm at St. Edmund’s: Baptism of Maisie Davies.

Monday 29th 12 noon at Limpenhoe: Funeral of Terry Pierce.

Friday 3rd 3.00pm at St. Edmund’s: Roman Catholic funeral of Lynne Willgress.

 

Future events and other notices:-

Acle: there are lists at the back of church for volunteers from each church to sign up to deliver Christian Aid envelopes w/c 12th May (no requirement to collect, because donations can be dropped off at Carter’s butchers). Also bucket collections at the Co-op and possibly one other location.

Church Electoral Rolls are being revised this month: if you would like to join see the notice in or near your church porch. No action is required if you are already on the Roll.

Not a church event, but Martin will be delivering the Acle Society Spring Talk this year, on bees and other insects: this Tuesday, 7.30pm, Acle Methodist Church.

Organist John Farmer (who has been helping out at St. Edmund’s) will be performing, together with a barbershop quartet, at St. Margaret, Upton on Fri 3rd May, 7.30pm.
